File Formats !

Different commercial embroidery machines household sewing machines have many different embroidery file formats. If not all, we can digitize them. If there is any format we can’t do, your machine will support multiple formats, and we can use one or more of these formats. This has been the case in our practice, and we have almost never let anyone leave. Below is a list of formats we can perform.

We recommend that you prepare your work or ask your client to submit a work of art in one of the following formats:

  • JPG – For images containing multiple colors, photos, scanned images, etc.
  • PNG, GIF Suitable for designs with less color, especially for larger solid areas. Such as text,logo
  • EPS, AI – These are vector formats, meaning art can be easily scaled. Don’t forget to convert the fonts used in your design to outlines.
  • Word Document – Some customers send these, it doesn’t matter. Keep in mind that you can just send the image instead of embedding the image in a Word document
  • that might degrade its quality.
  • TIFF, BMP – These are fine, but the file size can be large. Or, JPG might be a better format.
  • PSD – Photoshop files are not ideal, it may display differently on our computer, especially if it contains a font layer. Please save it in JPG, PNG or PDF format.
  • CDR, SVG – Sorry, we are unable to open these files, please save them in JPG, PNG or PDF format
  • If you have a different format, send it anyway – if we can’t open it, we’ll let you know.
